So, these are two things you need to know about me and about this blog:
- I love books, book blogs, read-a-thons, libraries and pretty much any book-related thing the world has to offer. I hope this blog will reflect that.
- I'm not very good at blogging. Possibly because,
a) I'm a lurker! That means I'm not accustomed to actually interact with other people through the internet, or write long texts, etc. And,
b) English is not my, uhm, Mother Language? (I'm purposely not googling phrases because every time I stop and Google to see if something is correct I get more and more distracted and then never, ever finish a post. Believe me, I spent 40 minutes just writing the first item in this list. And years before that trying to create a blog and not collapse under the pressure of having to be grammatically perfect in a foreign language. ANYway, what I'm trying to say is: I might get things wrong. English is weird.*) and since I'm not very good at sharing opinions publicly in the first place, writing can be a struggle. But it's necessary. It's a lonely life, the lurker's life :P
*: no offence intended. Spanish is weird too.
